I've seen these guys live. They are unbelievably fun. There was a whole club basement full of gamer dorks headbanging to classic NES played on heavy metal guitars. It was the nerdiest/funnest thing I've ever done.
Chrono Trigger - Frog's Theme
The first time I played through Chrono Trigger, I thought Frog was a joke character and would eventually be returned to human form. The more I played through the more I was disappointed that he didn't, but somewhere along the line I slowly changed my opinion. I started to realize that Frog was the bravest, loyalest, and knightliest of all of the characters and in him a charm that none of the others matched. He also ended up being one my favorite CT character and his strength in battle just begs the old saying, "great things come in small packages." This lordly song is a fine representation of his personality.
Final Fantasy XI - Sanctuary of Zi'tah
You really have to visit the zone in order to know why this song is so good. It is almost as if the zone was created after someone had listened to the piece. Imagine a forest, with a tree about every few dozen yards. There are small and low-lying trees, but the majority of them are so tall that you cannot see the canopy. Light shines through the leaves and displays a beautiful pattern on the ground. Here are some pics for visual aid (pic 1,pic 2,pic 3). Very relaxing, too.
