New Atari System

Post by wclem »

Did they ever make a knock off player like they did for the NES/Snes/Genesis? If so could someone point me to one?

I remember there being one or two of them, but there's always the one that's just a joy-stick and cords with pre-loaded roms...

I heard those atari flashback things are really buggy and a lot of the games are unplayable.

I bought a flashback 2 based off of Retrowaretv recommendation Video it's great 40 games + two more if you have paddle controllers.

I also have one of these Image witch is crap its a NES on a chip trying, to an Atari. It just dose not look right and the sound is too high pitch for a Atari.

I'm pretty sure I saw a mod of one of those "Flashback" devices that added a cart slot to it.

Yep there you go. If you are feeling adventurous try that!

Is there a way to make old 2600 use RCA jacks? If not I amy stick to emulating. I forgot about the RFU ordeal.
