But seriously, call them up and bitch until they move you onto a more stable server.

It's Linux
I'll call them once my evening minutes kick in (cell is my only phone)

Ok, just got off the phone with them. They couldn't do a whole lot just yet since they couldn't replicate it (it was running smooth while I was one the phone), but they said they would send it "higher up" and take a good look at the database server and get back with me later.

Arg, I was in the same situation once with my forum, regarding an error screen which randomly appeared while quoting someone. I couldn't make it happen when I needed it to. Eventually I found out that it was affecting hundreds of people at phpbb who use our host.

Edit: You may want to get rid those default questions. I know for a fact that some bots are programed to answer these default questions. You should just type one original question manually, simple as you want. On my forum, I simply wrote "Type the word 'confirm' in the box." Not a single bot has ever gotten past that, lol.

So yeah, go to your forum admin panel and erase your questions and make one of your own.

any way to get different skins for these forums?

I'm really not digging the dark grey and light blue. Everything is very hard to read. I'd probably post more here if there was a lighter design. :p

You should be able to set it to another lighter skin your preferences.

Really? I thought one of them was the default.
When I get some spare time, I'll see if I can load up a lighter theme.
