PICS ADDED!! Switching DC, Saturn, Sega CD games over ....

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I've been making custom cases for Dreamcast DVD cases for a while. Stopped recently, but I'll continue when I have the facilities to print them. Incognito D's are excellent as well, much more traditional than mine are (I put the Dreamcast title at the top, a la modern gaming systems)

The only one I made was Tokyo Bus Guide (10 billion hours in paint, no joke). The rest are all from http://www.thecoverproject.net

It would be cool to see what yours look like. Are they up on the internet anywhere?

That's kinda neat, they look almost like Wii cases, especially from the side.

Personally I'd rather keep games in CD cases rather than the tall DVD cases. The more shelf space the better. I;ce replaced a lot of my PAL Saturn games with Japanese ones just because I prefer the smaller CD cases, even though the PAL boxes are really nicely presented. Same with PAL DC games replacing them with the thinner Japanese and American ones. Nothing beats the presentation of the Japanese DC games.

I'll have to get them from the PSDs when I get home. It'd be nice to see them again. Been a while, maybe I can make some touchups.

Hmm... did you use any of my covers?

Sorry, didn't read the whole thread. You can see a link with a list of most my stuff in my sig.

Edit: Just started reading some of the comments - As for why I do custom designs (almost all my work is custom) ... most of the official cover art for games are god-awful generic. Also, many games have spines that don't line up. Look at Devil May Cry 1 through 3 - there is no consistency at all with them. A custom series can fix that.

Is that Q*Bert for the Dreamcast? Mind telling me a bit about that version?

I haven't used any, but I only just started (Dreamcast is the only system I'm doing it for) and I don't have Puyo Pop Fever or Guilty Gear X (yet anyway).

I think he was talking to the OP. He has Q-bert on his shelf.
