Whats up with Kojima's new game?

Don't know if any of you noticed, but you remember how every few seconds a 5 would flash? Well it still flashes the 5 some time but it is also flashing 3 and E every once in a while. Plus it has started taking much longer for anything to flash. Just thought I'd bring that up.
