does any one know whats the psychological explanation behind people liking b-movies/cheesy FMV although it is supposed to be bad and unenjoyable?

I think they're just funny. It's great to play a game that looks god-awful, because we all have a little Mystery Science Theater 3000 inside us.

I like the idea of seeing a movie that someone put so much time and effort into that practically no one saw. I feel like one of a few.

I like idea of seeing efforts of others
but I think I think it became a market niche long time ago to make the film
deliberately stupid and extra gory, you can notice it on most b-movies they try to make it
irritating .

MST3000 makes fun of b-movies right? I hardly know the show
maybe there should be one for videogames , like someone do it on youtube or something

I believe those stupid movies make a ton of money
they are like the cheapest to make, no one will criticize you since you are acting stupid, and a lot of people are willing to pay to see the sarcasm

personally I hate those movies, but its fun to enjoy it with friends and make time pass by
