Very true.
But nowadays some people only have LCDs for their monitors.

Obviously, but we're just talking about LCDs here.

It's 2007 now. This statement doesn't hold true anymore. $200 can get you a beautiful LCD that beats the pants off of a 17inch CRT in every single area but response time.

Quake 3 is another game that has a proper screen position option. Centers perfectly on mine. You can only access this option from the start menu while playing. It's not in the options from the Title Screen.

I emailed them LONG ago, in a very detailed and professional manner. Never got a response. But definitely call. It would just make my day if there were some hidden service menus in these Samsung LCDs which can push the settings farther. I doubt it though.

Its just overscan on VGA. Very common problem. If only HDTVs had as much control as the old school computer monitors...

I've phoned them and theres no way to fix the problem using the screen other than adjusting the coarse which we already knew :(

If we cant find a solution then a proper compatibility list should be made and linked on the page where you buy the vga cable.

Actually, I've found that, IMO, my wittle 13" CRT looks better than any LCD I've seen in action and it's from like 1993, with the exception of the half a grand ones or over, like LoD's or RB's. The picture still seems more vibrant, has deeper darks, and is overall much brighter. I mean most well made LCDs are good, close to CRTs, but I've never seen one like that for 200 bucks.
