Backing up Faussete Amour for TG16 / PCE / Duo

Post by withalligators »

Hey all,
I'm trying to back up my discs now that I'm selling off my doubles. I've got PSX, and Sega CD stuff down fine. I can't get Faussete Amour to copy. I'm using clonecd and nothing happens. I can get the game to play in magic engine though, so it's not the drive. Also, when I pop the disc in windows opens it as having only a single audio track (44kb). I tried TurboRip but the program won't even start on my computer. It just flashes a DOS looking window at me. Is that Vista causing this? Anyways, I would love to have a backup of this disc so I don't scratch my original. I also would not like to download the ISO blah blah blah but will I guess if I have to. Any help here? Thanks,
Alex

Years ago I used to use a program called WinOnCD (ver 3.5 I think) for problem cds and isos I had. It had an incredible ammount of options for making and burning nonstandard CD formats and weird track/sector sizes/numbers and all kinds of other dropdown boxes I never fully figured out. I used it several times using specific instructions I had found on forums to backup and burn some weird console bin/cue/iso/raw CD images. Keep in mind that this may have been almost 10 years ago (i was using windows 98 and a dual speed cd writer), I don't know if the program still exists, or has anything to do with the problems you're having (with vista involved it's always hard to tell). Just throwing it out there as there were no replies. You could instead just try Alcohol120 or ImgBurn or Blindwrite...
Good luck!
