Probably one of the noobiest questions you guys have heard in a while. But I never really got into online gaming(And technically I'm still not). I always found that playing single player was a complete enough experience to warrant the $50 price tag. And if a game had multiplayer then it was like getting a free bonus. Not something that was essential to make the game good. However, recently titles like Call of duty: World at War have shown me that, sadly, the focus of gaming in the future is steadily being aimed at multiplayer content. Often half of the entire work done on a game is all around perfecting the multiplayer component of the it(sometimes more then half). I suppose I would be OK with that, if only they didn't make so many games have online only multiplayer(CoD:WaW is once again a good example). Plus it has now become popular to make games and put them up in online shops, instead of putting them on the shelf. A good example is Final Fantasy IV: The After Years which is coming soon to WiiWare. And obviously, it's impossible to forget the Wii's Virtual Console.
With all this online only material I've finally broken down and decided that I'm gonna hook my Wii up to the internet. I would not be doing this if the online cost a monthly fee(I'm looking at you Xbox Live), but thankfully it's free on the Wii so I don't have to worry about that. There is something I do have to worry about though. I'm completely confused as to how I get my Wii online. I've tried searching up information to help me out but I keep getting nil.
So basically my question is; how do I get my Wii online? I do not have wireless internet. I use a broadband modem. Please help!!

Seriously? I type out that long 3 or so paragraphs and the answer was so simplistic? Man, I feel stupid. Guess it was a very nooby question after all.equalsign wrote:http://store.nintendo.com/webapp/wcs/st ... Preference

Although, to be perfectly honest, you can get a wireless router for not too much more than the Wii LAN adapter. And it'll let you hook up your PS3, Wii, and DS (the 360 requires money for a wireless adapter).
