Playstation / Square garage sale score

Post by Le_Mons »

Howdy!

First post - been visiting racketboy for a while and just recently started lurking in the forums.

Anyway I thought I'd share my garage sale score for my first post! Picked up all of these for $2 bucks each - he threw in the strategy guides. A pretty good score, but I don't collect PSX anymore and haven't played an RPG for years. None of these are greatest hits!

Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo
Rival Schools
Street Fighter Collection
Wild Arms 2
Final Fantasy VIII (w/strategy guide)
Chrono Cross (w/strategy guide)
FInal Fantasy IX (w/strategy guide)
Final Fantasy Chronicles
Final Fantasy Anthology
Vagrant Story
Metal Gear Solid
Super Smash Bros. Melee

Looks like I gotta dig up an old PSX.. but will most likely end up getting rid of most of these. I usually like action RPG's like Zelda or Secret of Mana. Which of these should I give a spin?

Anyway - cheers!

holy crap, nice haul.

chrono cross, final fantasy chronicles, metal gear solid, and super smash bros. melee are all amazing. Final fantasies IX and VIII are pretty good, and I've heard good things about basically every other game.

Thanks. I actually used to have SSBM but got rid of it when I picked up Brawl.. it was just one of those things where I figure I might as well pick it up for two bucks. Played the crap out of MGS in college, but will be fun to revisit it. I used to have the GC remake but got rid of it a long time ago.

Hey, if you decide to sell any of those in the next few months, would you mind throwing them up here in the Buy/Sell/Trade section? I'd love to have the chance to snag Rival Schools, if I've got the money.

$2 for Rival Schools? I'll give you $4! Double your investment!

Just kidding - really good score. I'd love to have Rival Schools, but I can't really afford to buy any games right now.

Yeah - since I just joined the forums I thought I'd establish a rep before selling stuff. I mostly would be looking for a trade anyway... it's more fun (and way better than ebay).

That's a really rocking find! I love hunting for stuff like that at yard sales and flea markets. :D

great haul. Some really fantastic games in there. Some are pretty pricey. I'm really surprised there isn't a sports game thrown in there somewhere. Usually when i hit up tag sales thats all that they have. I would pop em all in at least once and see if you like them. What have you got to lose after all?

sweet avatar btw.
