Just a little side note for those that don't currently or never had a Gamecube, you can get one at Gamestop for like $30.. at least the ones in my area.

^YEAH, that's what they go for there. Excellent price. However, the games are overpriced there, I think.

THE Gamecube is one of my all time favorites, between the great cataloge of games, and the smooth & quite system and a very under-rated controler and you have a classic system.

Plus it is the only console you can play Eternal Darkness on!

I maintain that Metroid Prime is love and that the GC is a great value, reliable, attractive system with a plethora of great games I'd have no issue playing through instead of those on other systems, Plus, accessories are still easy to come by and the controller is far and away the best of the previous generation.

I can't decide between the Dual Shock 2 or the Gamecube Controller, they are both the best controllers in my mind. Metroid Prime is probably in my top 5 list of games. Same with Viewtiful Joe. I can't believe how much I love VJ though, its the 3D/2D platformer/beat'm'up that ive been looking for, it combines my favorite parts of Little Big Planet and Streets of Rage. I love it, but yea I know they ported to PS2 later on.
