Super NES cartridge replacements?

Post by BIZ »

Kind of an odd question here about SNES games. In all my buying and trading I now have a few dozen SNES "games" that are just the circuit board (missing the plastic shell). I am wondering if anybody knows anywhere on the net that sells some kind of replacement cartridge.

I'm looking for something similar to the cases here only for Super NES:

I think the bigger question is how you have a stack of SNES PCBs.

I've come across a few before in stores, where the cases were cracked or worn away to nothing, and I've got a cart that needs some repairs. It's not a bad idea, but it does hearken back to a question I asked a while ago: is there any place to get replacement SNES labels?

How authentic are they, and will they print the back errata?

Just buy a stack of cheap sports games on ebay or a flea market

Yeah, I think it would be easier to find a bunch of super common carts (sports) and take them apart. Then you can have a bunch of Sports PCB's laying around!

Or just make the world a little better place and toss them.

Seems like nobody knows anyone offhand. Thanks for the input.
