It's suppose to work with ALL PSPs. In fact, I think, the main point of it was so you can use your fat PSP on a bigger screen (since you already can with a slim). Like I said, I didn't have any luck with it. I might have been doing something wrong, but the last thing that happen was my PSP was freezing when ever I tried to load a game or emulator so I just deleted the software. Maybe you could have more luck with it, and maybe there's a newer version of the software.

If you had a fat PSP you could track down an old PSP2TV kit, which will not only display an interlaced image (it looks terrible, but it works) in 4:3 or 16:9, but will let you plug a PS2 controller into your PSP and use it for gameplay.
The downside is, you have to disassemble your system to install it, and it adds a bit of bulk to the system.
Honestly your money would probably be better spent on a small EDTV.
