Backwards compatible and VC games don't get graphically updated.kingmohd84 wrote:I got the right to defend myself
I meant when Tekken 6 exist and SF4 exist,
Maybe the dreamcast fighting games is not the thing you want. Plus I believe Stuff on VC and backward compatible ps3's and xboxes can do a lot of fighting games with better graphics

And they have the right to say you're wrong. Fighting games don't just become irrelevant once a newer fighting game is released. They're each their own entities. I have doubts about how much of a fighting game fan you are if you claim otherwise.
For the reference, the original Soul Calibur is still my favorite 3D fighter.

Hidden & Dangerous? Are you sure about that one? That's not really prime real estate there, bro. I'm not quite sure purchasing two Marvel vs. Capcom games is quite necessary. Why not just go with one?MrEco wrote:Well thanks guys for all the help. My final lineup looks like this:
+ Grandia II
+ Gauntlet Legends
+ Shenmue
+ Sonic Adventure
+ Sonic Adventure 2
+ Street Fighter 3: Third Strike
+ Bomberman Online
+ Worms Armageddon
+ Worms World Party
+ Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes
+ Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes
+ Elemental Gimmick Gear
+ Outtrigger
+ Rez
+ The Typing of the Dead
+ Seaman
+ Zombie Revenge
+ Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare
+ Conflict Zone: Modern War Strategy
+ Draconus: Cult of the Wyrm
+ Hidden & Dangerous
+ Omikron: The Nomad Soul
+ Record of Lodoss War: Advent of Cardice
+ Seventh Cross: Evolution
+ Silver
+ Phantasy Star Online
+ Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver
+ Jet Set Radio
I took Shenmue II and Ikaruga off of the list because according to Wikipedia they haven't had English releases on the Dreamcast. I can easily grab Ikaruga for my GameCube though and Shenmue II for XBox, so it's all OK!
Once again, thanks!
Oh yeah, you'd probably enjoy a game called HeadHunter. Metal Gear Solid-esque stuff. Fun fun fun!
And no Skies of Arcadia? Really, sir? Are you quite sure?

Wait was that a shot at me or kingmohd84 because I'm defending the DC's fighter lineup, what I pointed out in my last post was that he incorrectly said that VC and backwards compatible games get graphical updates on newer consoles.crux wrote:And they have the right to say you're wrong. Re: Newest Dreamcast user...!
It wasnt at you. He said "and they have the right to say youre wrong" because King said "I got the right to defend myself" (which was kind of puzzling).
Re: Newest Dreamcast user...!
Hidden & Dangerous does seem iffy. I heard it had a lot of graphical glitches and stuff like that, but I'm a pretty big fan of WWII games and stealth games. Fusing the two sounds pretty good. I suppose it doesn't make sense to get both MvC games. I know MvC 2 has more characters but there might be characters that are only in the first game. If that's true then I'm gonna want to buy both, so I can get all the characters. If MvC 2 has all characters from the previous game then I will only get MvC 2.Original_Name wrote:Hidden & Dangerous? You should def get both. There are significant differences.
I often prefer part one's artistic style, without those 3d backgrounds. I also prefer the traditional 6 button layout.
It seems a bit more technical execution as well. Who knows?
