Can any Ghost in The Shell fans help me out? (FOUND IT!)

Post by Mod_Man_Extreme »

So I'm watching the GITS Solid State Society for the first time in a while, and I can't for the life of me remember the jazzy song that plays during the rooftop sniper showdown.

Link to clip:

Do any of you guys happen to know by some chance?

EDIT: Found the track, it's called 'Home Stay' by, Yoko Kanno.

I have such a hard time considering this show as GITS when the Major has all this human personality, and there's those spider tanks that sound like 5 year old girls. They're humorous I guess, but this whole show just reeks of generic anime traits, while the original movie was just stunning.

The tachikoma segments after the show are so awesome! The original movie was much cooler though, no one can deny it.

There's def. no way that's Get 9, trust me I've had the second O.S.T. ever since I was 13, and it came with the DVD.

I could have sworn it's Get 9, but I do remember that song from the OST. Wish I still had it, but I cleaned out my music awhile ago and my anime stuff was one of the casualties.

Nope, I actually popped in the CD to check before I posted just in case.

Sucks how you got rid of your anime stuff.

You mentioned it was the second OST though, so it might have been on the first OST.
