I recently stumbled upon gamereproductions.com. I was just wondering if anyone has ordered from here before. I am really interested in buying an NES copy of Sonic the hedgehog from them.
If you have ordered from them before, was the quality of the product good? Also, was the transaction easy?
Thanks.

Re: Question about Gamereoproductions.com
Nope, and I wouldn't order either, prices are very high. Reproductions have zero resale value.

Buy a flash cart instead. Reward people making cool new hardware for these old systems, not just ripping off the work of others.

I picked up an Earthbound Zero cart from them. It took some time for it to ship (backlog of work to do) but when it shipped it arrived quickly and the cart looks very professional. I'd recommend them if you feel the carts are worth the money. For me resale is not a factor as I don't intend on ever getting rid of any part of my collection.

I agree. I picked up Earthbound Zero from them at the Midwest Gaming Classic and it does look very professional. If you really want to add that specific game to your collection then its worth it. I'm a big fan of the Earthbound games so it was worth the pick up for me.MrPopo wrote:I picked up an Earthbound Zero cart from them. The PowerPak (or what ever its called) seems perfect, so that's great for the NES. But as far as SNES goes, you can't play any games that have special chips on a flash cart (which is a LOT of good games).Hatta wrote:Buy a flash cart instead. Hmm... any idea if this repros will work smoothly on a RetroDuo? Just curious.

I think it's pretty cool that they have a legit looking "The Firemen" in english.

Re: Question about Gamereoproductions.com
I have a repro SMB2j from www.nesreproductions.com. Check out this site before going with the other one. It's a bit cheaper, I think.
Repros are cool. If you want the game in your hands, go for it. Re-sellers and emu people wouldn't understand.
