Just download them. I've downloaded up to 2x13. There's only two to go.

what made me mad is that it got a DVD release, do you get the nerve to release an unfinished story on DVD? Who wants to watch half a story? When I saw it on DVD and the quality on the show and the DVD I thought this show is here to stay.

Back to the main topic, can any one please suggest more movies

Since nobody's mentioned it yet (quelle surprise?), this is why TV shows get cancelled (the Star Trek spoof also explains it rather humourously).

Good to see that someone else is a carpenter fan, ack, I totally second the they live and the thing notions. If you want fun movies though, few things beat roger corman movies, Deathrace 2000, the big dollhouse, big bad momma, they're all fun as hell.
Don't that just look oh so tasty?

Truthfully? I am my own source. All of those came off the top of my head, and I've found many suggestions just by wandering through Netflix, though I think that's pretty much a US-only service(it's a company that allows you to rent through the mail, and they've got an enormous selection).

There is a series of books by a company called Rough Guides, where they focus on different genres and give a general overview of information, such as the history in film. They're usually written by Americans with the American audience in mind, but they'll mention classics from all over the world. I'd suggest checking out their books on Sci Fi, Horror, and Cult Movies. Here's a few listings on Amazon, so you can see what they look like.

Sci-Fi

Horror

Cult Movies

If you want a deep and complex crime drama watch HBO's The Wire.

You could just go through the IMDB top 250:

If I can come up with a list, like what Ack did, I will. But I think I need to answer your other post first.

Your lack of mention of The Godfather disappoints me, Ack.
