Sounds like this could make an interesting story. Would you like to explain?DaPerv wrote:TO be honest, the ones I'm most proud of are the ones I had when I was little that I stil own and play today, which are the classics (espically Super Mario World, that game literally saved my life and is extremely important to me).

I didn't know they actually got as far as making carts of this game. Makes the decision not to release it even more strange.

Re: My SNES collection (MASSIVE AMOUNT OF PICS)!!!
Without getting too much into detail, My junior year of college (which was last year) a lot of things were going wrong in my life. Grandfather got intensely sick with a case of staff infection, having SERIOUS roomate troubles, girlfriend was cheating on me for 6 months with my friends knowing about it and choosing not to tell me, and an Internship I got with Blue Man Group to work at their scene shop got dropped due to the economy. (plus the Captials lost the 1st series in the playoffs).Harvey wrote:Sounds like this could make an interesting story. I ended up drinking every night by myself in my room not doing anything but playing COD4 or watching TV. I was a zombie. When I moved back home, things weren't better as getting any work was difficult (the job I did have at the time didn't have any hours ready for me for a few weeks) and I spent most of the time by myself with nothing to do. I cam across my SNES one day while cleaning my room out and plugged in SUper Mario World, a game that as a child I played with my entire family (including grandparents) as we made it an event together. As I begun to play it, I felt happy again, and the feelings and memories I had as a child came rushing back to me as I began to relive a better time. I went and played some of my other games and began to really love my SNES again. I went to my local retro game store and bought three games on a whim one day, began to really enjoy this retro gaming thing. Eventually, I started collecting all the games I could since last August.
This SNES (the one with all the crayons on it) is the same one I fist got as a child and still works and I still play it, haven't picking up a modern console since last fall. This machine made me feel alive again when everything else seemed hopeless. Everything is great now, grandfather is healthy again, got a new wonderful girlfriend who I love and who loves me even more, and I'm about to graduate college.
Just thought you all would enjoy that story. Glad to share it with you.

I love that red Doom cart... and I thought the black Doom cart on the Jag was something.
