How do you spend your day?

This is another one of those fun topics that you can join if you like it.

I think I have a very bad day planning. I personally think I am flushing my life down the drain living the way I am. I see a lot of people do a lot of things with work and hobbies and more , and then they say they are bored. In this era you can't be bored due to mass information and accessible entertainment.

I want to know how each of you spend their day , what time they wake up , what they do next, when do they sleep, do they do any thing special(watch wrestling after lunch? go out with the wife at 6? what is it) up until you shut your eyes sleep.

I will say mine later because mine is definitely the worst

Honestly, I'd really need a weekly schedule, because it changes almost every day, depending on the semester. Still, I tend to wake about 7:30 am, and then immediately shower, stretch, and exercise a little. After that, I usually have a class or work until noon, when I will go get some lunch. After that, it's usually another class or work(and if not those, homework), followed by dinner and then either class or martial arts training. When I'm not either at class, work, or training, I'm usually doing homework or cleaning my apartment a little. I don't get to play video games very often, and most of my socialization comes while I'm at class, work, or training. I tend to go to bed close to midnight.

I wake up at 7:00 jump on my Harley and go to work, grab the parts we need for the job "pipe, computer, tools etc". From there we all meet up for coffee at about 8:45 and bullshit until around 10:00. Then we drive to the jobsite arrive at about 10:45, bang out the first job fast "if all goes smoothly". At around 1:30, 2:00 we have lunch I brought a grill to work a while back and we keep it in the truck to cook up some burgers, steaks or chicken off the back of the truck. At around 2:45, 3:00 we start heading to our second job and arrive at about 3:45 bang out that job quickly. Then we meet up with our coworkers for coffee again while we finish our paperwork and computer work on overtime. At 6:00 I leave work hop on the bike go to the gym run my 5 miles on the treadmill go home and shower etc. Hang out and play with the family until about 8:30, 9:00. After putting my daughter to bed, I pop a couple of cold ones and do one of 3 things, play video games, work on the motorcycle or give the ball and chain a good rogering. Then I go to bed and repeat in the morning until Friday. Saturday is all about fun. I either go on a day trip with my friends on the bike or, Do something fun with my family like the zoo, movies or something fun and different. And if the weather sucks I play with my daughter or video games with my daughter "she loves Samba and Okami. Sunday for me is all about being with my whole family and just lounge around. This is just a basic template for my week and weekend. It really changes from day to day depending on a multitude of factors. I find having a set schedule can be a hard thing to stick with and ends up being frustrating more than helpful. If you do what makes you happy, and gives you a feeling of accomplishment you'll never waste a minute of your life. Thats how I see it. Sorry if I went into to much detail.

I just do whatever i feel like doing... It depends how I'm feeling. The usual stuff happens go to work, play games, watch TV/anime, pay bills..

general day with my new job:

10:55 AM - roll out of bed and scratch balls.

10:56 AM - Grab cup of OJ or Mountain Dew and attempt my first words of the day. "Damn it, I need to stop drinking pop that sat out all night!"

11:01 AM - answer Skype call for daily project meeting. We all update each other on where we all are progress wise.

11:25 AM - eat something and watch last night's Daily Show on Hulu.

NOON - actually start working.

1:30 PM - fight off text messages from different people on my phone. SHUT UP I'M WORKING!

2:30 PM - surf the web a little, gotta take a little break, let my brain cool down.

4:00 PM - take my daily walk down the street for smokes and a sandwich

?:?? PM - finally finish working

From there depending on when I finish working for the day I might play some video games. Right now I'm playing Fallout 3. Or I might read one of my books laying around. Of course have some routine conversations over AIM with some random friends.

11ish - someone calls, maybe Olivia, Mike, Brian, Assman, someone... depending the day of the week.

midnightish to 3 or 4ish - depending the night and who called I could be:

surfing the web reading forum posts

watching movies with Olivia and some random creature she brings over... last week it was V the mouse girl. I swear she's a mouse or something!

or Assman and I walk around and throw shit

or any random person drags me to the bar for boozing and debauchery. I hate those following mornings. See I don't own a car and I don't know how I'm going to get home most of the time. Saturday morning I ended up walking home 4 miles with no underwear... WHERE'D MY UNDERWEAR GO!? I don't know. But hot Florida sun drying wet jean pants against an underwearless ass chafes a LOT after 2 miles! That and I had to beat the memories of that girl having sex in the pool... help me... why'd you invite me in the pool? I'm going up stairs now weirdo... I walk to much.

That actually sounds like one of my Analog days, simply substitute wite code... with school..., and get texts... with get a cell phone...

My day usually goes like this:

8:00 - Wake up, shower, shave, surf the net
9:00 - Get dressed, head to work
11:00 - Eat lunch
5:00 - Head home, massive video games, possible dinner
Midnight - Sleep

On the weekends I usually get up around 9:30 and do massive video games with the occational eating of food or grocery run. Still sleep at midnight.

My day varies wildly since i have no boss or coworkers to meet in the morning i kinda get up when i feel like it and stop working when i feel like it. I have deadlines for books, but that'll be like 4ish days a month that i have to hand something in. Other than those 4 mornings i'm left to my whims unless those 4 mornings seem to pack together. Then it is usually a panic rush of work. But yeah... my sleep is different daily. I always get like 8 hours at least, but sometimes those 8 hours start at 9am, sometimes 9pm.

But every morning i do this in this order. Wake up, feed the dogs, turn on coffee grinder, let the dogs out, fill coffee machine with grounds/water and turn on, let the dogs in, clean up after the dogs, wash hands, pour and enjoy coffee while looking at racketboy/kotaku/reddit main, politics and gaming with an occasional look at the google reader.

If i have work, i usually work all day until i go to bed. Since i'm at my computer in my home i might take breaks if i get calls from people depending on the looming deadline and day of the week. If i start working and just hit a roadblock i'll either go out for drinks or play some games because I've probably been looking at whatever i was working on for too long. Mostly thats my work day. Watching something on one monitor and working on the other.

Currently i've been doing wake up, work, go to bed for like the last 15 days strait. A bunch of deadlines all in a row. The good thing about that is after monday i don't have any responsibilities or work for the next 2ish weeks. Sometimes i go on a trip depending on if people are around and can go with. This time i'll probably catch up on a slew of games i've managed to acquire in the last 3 weeks from ebay (being overtired on ebay with a buy it now button is a bad thing) that have all been sitting there collecting dust. Including point blank 2! I've never played a point blank game so i'm looking forward to it the most.

On off days like the next two weeks it usually goes, dogs/coffee/computer morning and then dogs for a walk to coffee shop, thrift stores, games/reading until like 4 or 5 when my friends get out of work and then whatever they are up to i usually tag along. Mostly food and bars that may or may not have quizzes in them.
