Bought a Gameboy today for $10, it's great, though it could use some sprucing up. I cleaned everything on the outside so it looks just fine, though I need to fix up some stuff on the inside. There's some dust trapped behind the screen, so I figure I can get it out if I open it up, but damn Nintendo and their fancy screws! The speaker also rattles, I would assume it came loose and needs to be tightened back in or something... Or it's just broken, no big deal really, I can still hear the music. Finally, the little connectors were the batteries go are all crusty from battery leaks and junk. I was able to scrub most of it off, but there's still some stuck under the springy things. Is there any way to easy clean this stuff off? I lightly soaked a Q-tip in vinegar and it worked fairly well for getting the stuff off from the major areas, though I'm not 100% sure if it's really a good idea. Help plz?
Thanks in advance. ;D

You can use a plastic pen to open those nintendo screws. You just take the pen and heat it with a lighter then you can basically mold it to the screw. I'm sure there are better guides, but I quickly pulled this up from google:

I was about to try that, but the holes the screws are in are too small. D:molotovwars wrote:You can use a plastic pen to open those nintendo screws. Guess I'll have to order one of those fancy pants screwdrivers.
