ds-lite scuffs

Post by Hatta »

My GF's daughter has a DS, and it's getting pretty scuffed up. If I wanted to repair it, what part would I need? Would I need a completely new case for the DS? Or is it just the touch screen?

So what specifically is getting scuffed up? Is it the exterior case or the touch screen? If it's the case you would need to replace the entire shell. If it's the touch screen you would probably only need to replace it, but I have no idea where you'd get a replacement. You should be able to send the DS in to Nintendo and they can replace it for you. I'd recommend a screen protector when you get back the repaired DS.

If it's the case that's getting scuffed up, you can order a new case here.

If you need a new touchscreen, you can get one here.

Yeah, it's the screen. I just wasn't sure whether the top layer was part of the case, or the touch screen itself. I'll be sure to get her some screen protectors this time. Thanks.
