Is it really over this time?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Jesus that trailer is just awful. They actually showed that, to the public?

To be honest I'd rather them release it bugs and all, than it to succumb to being vapurware for all eternity.

Something tells me it's been a ruse all along and there isn't and never was a DNF. They were just stringing it out doing naff all and collecting a pay cheque at the end of the month. Surely somebody would have hacked them and stole it by now. You would have thought that an employee would have leaked it or something. If it even exists.

The best thing 3DR could do is to just release it open source, or at least licence the IP to the biggest bidder to finish it. Even if it sucks, I'd rather have it than be forever wondering what could have been.

I hope and pray that they either release the source and assets free or someone hacks it out of them. In the meantime, I'm going to play some Duke 3D.

Wow, that trailer was painful. My eyes and ears were hurting as I was watching it. What the hell is with the ad Metal music and that bitmap of Duke just flying across the screen?

Also, if anyone's interested, Good Old Games has Duke Nukem 3d and Manhattan Project for $5.99 each.

This topic has a list of kick ass Duke Mods including the High Resolution Pack.
