Hi,

I'm new to the forums, but have been a long time reader of Racketboy. I've found out so much information from reading all the great articles on retro games. My collection has really expanded as a result. I have a fairly nice collection spanning NES through current gen, much to my wife's chagrin.

Hopefully I will be a meaningful poster on the forums.

Thanks!

Hi everyone my name is Jason Brassard. I own a small store called Trade-N-Games in fenton, MO. I was turned on to this forum by a few people from other forums and a local customer reminded me today about the site so I joined. I dont post very much on forums so you wont see me spaming my web site or stuff for sale often. I think many US guys know me from other sites and the Video Game shows I attend. I always have some great stuff for sale and I collect for almost every system and my personal collection has over 15,000 games. You can look up my name on photobucket to see some pic of the collection. my site with tons for sale is www.tradengames.com

My name is Seth, and I'm a game-aholic. I'm currently a senior in college, majoring in Political Science and History. I started back into game collecting about 2 months ago. I've ran into this site several times when lookin' up stuff, and decided to join after meeting Kingdomheights777 at the local Gamestop (with a badass Joystick controller). He also made me realize that my collection is pretty puny, with only 19 consoles and 90 games lol. Once I finish up college and start a new career, my collection is going into overdrive :D Out of all my systems though, my "prizes" are the Atari 2600 and my Sega Dreamcast... love that machine :) Anyways, just figured I'd introduce myself, and hope to be an asset to the site's community :)
Intellivision, Atari 2600, Jaguar, NES, SNES, N64, GC, Wii, Sega Master System, Genesis, 32x, CD, Saturn, DC, PSOne, PS2, PS3, Xbox, Xbox 360, GB, Game Gear, Sega Nomad, Virtual Boy, GBA, DS, PSP.

Hello,
I frequently came here for retro information and figured it was time to join. You guys seem more level headed than the GameFAQs boards :D My name is Kris. I am a Mac user.
Time to talk about the games.
My collection consists of 2 NES' (Front and Top loading), One SNES (The SNES 2 from '97), Wii, DSi, Neo Geo Pocket Color, Genesis, 2 Saturn's, and a Dreamcast. I recently had to part ways with my Jaguar, Master System, and N64. My favorite console is the Saturn. I have been collecting for about 10 years now (I am 19, btw). I have always had a passion for the classics.
Thats about it I suppose.

Hi, my name is Manny, 22 years of age. Been browsing the forums for a few months now and the website for even longer and finally decided to join. I collect retro and modern games but within the last few years, been less on the playing and more on the collecting, researching, setups, connection(obsessed with how the consoles are connected) i really cant actually PLAY a game for more that 15 minutes before just moving on. I also don't know thing about modding. I work and also collect movies and sneakers. Also into sports, girls, and a huge movie fan. Like another new poster above me I also am a Mac User... gets no betta 8) Decided to join because I love the website and can never wait for new articles and the members seem easy going and seem to know the deal.

Hello.

I am new to this site, so I figured this was a good place to start. I was referred to here by a couple people from gametz.com and neo-geo.com.

I love all thing older game related. I am in the process of shrinking my collection down so you will see some posts in the sales forum about that.

I am a huge fan of SEGA, NEC, SNK, and overall arcade games. I have a Neo Geo 2 slot gold cabinet and a Egret II japanese candy cab. My arcade games of choice are shmups, so I am working on getting more shmup PCB's for the cab. I love the Duo-r and PC-FX. I have a Decent sized SEGA collection going that I only hope can get larger over time. I am also NOT into new systems at all. I do not own a wii, PS3 or 360 and never will from this point forward. I have a PSP and DS though.

For those of you who were wondering, I am a member of many different sites. I go by OldSchoolGamer on Gametz.com, Neo-Geo.com, PCEngineFX.com. I go by OldSchoolGamer86 on shmups.com, and SegaFan4life on Assemblergames.com.

Alright, that just about does it. I hope to utilize this site and become a good standing member here as well.
