just out of curiosity, are VB game carts the same size as GB carts? I've never thought about it, but would they work in the Gameboy Player? Probably not, or someone would've figured that out by now, but...

The Virtual Boy cart is much closer in size to the Game Gear cart than the Game Boy cart.

So I got my VB out after years in storage.. Tried to start it up... And nothing. Cleaned it up a bit, made sure all of the power contacts and the controller plug and things like that were clean... and nothing. Got really pissed, and did other things for a few hours. Tried is one last time for the hell of it and... worked no problem Beat Princess Peach in straight sets.
Has worked with no problems since. Oh how I wish there was decent games for this thing.

Wario Land, Mario's Tennis, Red Alert, and the Tetris games come to mind.

Have tennis.. have Red Alert (hopefully I can find that next).. want Wario, and probably going to look into getting Teleboxer.. Seriously though, you named four good games. I know its a black and red atrocity, but I loved this system, never got headaches or had any issues because of it. There could have been so much more is all i think. It's a shame no one made games for it.

I've actually never laid eyes on one in person, so my knowledge is limited to the reviews I've seen for the four games I got for 50 cents apiece at my local gameshop.
