Re: I think I am an addict......
I'm sure I own a few games I've never even bothered to test, but they're on my "to do" list for play throughs one of these years.

Need FreeMCboot? I'll install it on your PS2 Memory Card for free if you cover postage both ways.
Consoles: I have too much stuff
Arcade: No seriously, I have too much stuff. Someone grab a shovel and dig me out of my basement.
Re: I think I am an addict......
While your point is valid, LoD, I personally feel it is unfair to compare things like video gaming or internet porn with substance abuse. Those make some real changes to the brain chemistry that watching porn does not.
Then, of course, there's the difference between the addiction and the dependence, but that's neither here nor there. Really, the point I was trying to make, is that if you have the budget feel free to fill your home with arcade cabs.

Re: I think I am an addict......
My point wasn't to shrink the level of seriousness between the two. My point was it is still an addiction and can turn into a bad habit easily with out you even realizing it. Case in point I bet a lot of collectors don't realize the large sums of money they pump into their collections until the last second when it already has them by the balls. In a society where the average person is several thousand dollars in debt, this is a bit of an issue.MrPopo wrote:While your point is valid, LoD, I personally feel it is unfair to compare things like video gaming or internet porn with substance abuse. But I agree, alcohol dependency has far more severe consequences... a good deal of which are irreversible. It's not easy to get a new liver, I've tried! Damn bitch kept squirming and crying for her mommy and finally broke my window and ran away down the street. Took me 2 days to clean all that blood up... and still no liver!
