They sell a WIDE variety of used and new video games, and resurface CD's for only $4.00 each. Whats really nice about it is that the place is within biking distance from my house. My friend recently went there for the first time and said that they primarily sell retro games. He got Mario Paint (with mousepad) there for only $5.00.
Incase you happen to live in the area, heres their website with the address of their two locations.

Yeah, I also found a game store near where I live about a month or so ago..
I was very excited since most stores don't have retro games anymore.. It is nice when I can just pick it up instead of waiting and dodge the shipping fees

What kind of resurface machine they have? Is it a real professional unit?newt42 wrote:They sell a WIDE variety of used and new video games, and resurface CD's for only $4.00 each.
I've used discrepairservices.com in the past. They charge $5 per CD/DVD which includes shipping envelope, to/from postage. They also have a money-back guarantee if they're unable to repair the disc.
I always wondered if it was a real professional outfit or if it was some college kid/housewife running a business using a $20 repair kit from KMart.

My local game store also has a professional unit for resurfacing. I took this copy of Power Stone 2 I got for free a few years ago, but was scratched to all hell. Works like a charm now. I think they charge like $3 or $4 a disc, but less if you resurface 10 or more. I've also gotten them to do it free or for cheap if I am trading stuff in. Like I'll trade in a shitty game or some item I'd only get $1 for, then he'll resurface it for another $1.gtmtnbiker wrote:What kind of resurface machine they have?
