By the way, I think we can all agree that chocolate covered raisins are awesome.

Eh, every system gets slighted at one point or another. I'm sure lots of Playstation fans would love to have Rez HD, and lots of Xbox owners would kill to play Pixeljunk Eden. Think about it -- so far MM9 is the ONLY game to have been released digitally across all three home consoles. That's one out of hundreds.

Hopefully it's developed by a Western dev. Has the potential to be great or a dud.

Looks reasonably good. Somehow it doesn't feel right to for it to not have big chunky pixels though.

Anyway, here's my favorite homage to Contra III

I've only checked out three videos so far (http://www.destructoid.com/contra-rebir ... .phtml#ext), but I'm yet to see anything impressive. The only good musical score is for Area 1, and it's just a remix of the classic Contra stage 1 track. The level design is rather boring and uninspired. The color palette is mostly gray, muted and dull. Contra 4 must blow this WiiWare game out of the water. It's just three videos, but so far I'd rather see the original NES Contra and Hard Corps for the Genesis re-released on the Virtual Console.

The game looks easy as balls. I dont like how its kind of a contra 3ish metal slugish mix. I would prefer it to be like contra 3... or 4 or basically any of the good contra games. If I want to play metal slug I'll play metal slug(metal slug rulez).

Switching weapons is a great gameplay addition, but compared to Rebirth I prefer the graphics, music, and level design of the classic Contra for the NES. I also think NES Contra is actually superior to the Xbox Live release of the arcade original.
