What kind of IDE cable connects to the HD in the Xbox?

Can anybody tell me what kind of cable I should buy? I'm looking to buy the IDE cable/ribbon that connects the original Xbox hard drive to the xbox. I think I damaged it and need to replace it.

The xbox just uses standard ide cables, just yank one out of an old computer. The ebay one will work fine.

Actually, if you use an 80-conductor Ultra DMA IDE/ATA cable instead of the 40 wire kind that came with the Xbox, you will get faster load times.

Yep. I used a 133 IDE cable and I saw no problems, I don't think I ever saw faster loading times though. Even on MAME or any of my emulators. I dunno though, I'm pretty patient when it comes to load times. I grew up with an Amiga...

The Amiga did teach patience, the spectrum even more so.

I still remember beating SFII on the amiga, insert disc 4, 20 seconds later install disc 2, 30 seconds later insert disc 3 then you can play

I also have beneath a steel sky with its 15 discs for the Amiga.

I want to try the 133 cable on one of my xboxs as faster loading can;t hurt neither can a clearer signal.
