Pier Solar new Video!

Post by Xonticus »

I'm sure Pier Solar has been mentioned here on the forums before, but a brand new gameplay video has just emerged, and I know it will blow your socks off!

Check the video out here!

To those who don't know was Pier Solar is, it is a brand new RPG making its way to Sega Genesis/ Sega CD consoles everywhere! Being independently developed for over 4 years now, it will be released in game Cartridge form, along with a CD to pop in your Sega CD (If you have one) for a hi- fidelity soundtrack!

Any news on a release date? I couldn't find any info on the website. I'd love to preorder, but it seems like its been in development forever. I will it preorder once a set release date is set as it looks like this will be a great game and collectors item for sure.

Not yet, but in their news updates, they mention that it will be a very short time. On the message boards, it is started "Q2 2009", and it also seems that the current stage of development is at final bug testing. I've even heard on there that when they do announce a date, that'll mean it'll be going gold almost immediately after, and shipped.

I tell you what, from playing the demo released last fall, and seeing the new gameplay video, I'm so excited for this.

I can't wait hopefully I'll have time to play it (didn't for beggar prince and ended up selling my copy instead) I have trouble getting into and finding time for RPGs but I always buy them

EXTREMELY IMPRESSIVE.

I hope they expand further than RPGs... I could go for a good platformer, or shmup!

I preordered this last September, and I'm getting REALLY anxious. It's amazing how much has improved since then. It might even me one of the Genny's best games. :D The graphics started out at Turbo CD-quality, but are now at a level only seen on very high-end SNES RPGs, or even 2D PS1 games! The music is phenomenal, the story sounds great, and the game just seems like it will be a masterpiece. Quite impressive for an indie game!
