I finished a pirated copy as well as my legal copy. It's all good man. The sword just has a tendency to bonk into walls, which was intended.

Sonic Adventure: Trial Version.

Of course the actual version was pretty buggy too. The game was still good but it was like "hey, 3D physics are too hard to actually program, so lets just have invisible blockades that push you in the direction you should go"

The AI for the other players never kicks in, so they never leave the starting line, there are hills that you can drive through, and you can't actually win any of the races because a finish line was never programmed in.
Are you thinking of Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing?
What's funny is that if you move in reverse you never stop accellerating, so essentailly you would move so fast that eventually your computer would freeze from trying to simulate it.

My pick for buggy games would be Sonic Heroes for the PS2. I bet the game is a whole lot better on PC or Gamecube, because I had nothing but problems with this one. Constantly clipping through obsticles, falling through the floor, warping through walls... you name it, this game had it.

The last boss in the original Bionic Commando had infinite hit points so it was not possible to beat the game. Capcom fixed that after a few thousand copies.

As much as I enjoyed it, the Xbox version of Morrowind was kind of ridiculous. I think they fixed a lot of the original's bugs for the GotY edition (which had its own issues) but I remember it often freezing when trying to save. That got to be pretty frustrating. I don't think I experienced that much with the GotY one, but it had a lot of instances of falling through dungeon floors (which was kind of cool because you could look up and see the whole map of the area). I also remember all of the buildings disappearing in towns sometimes; leaving nothing but a bunch of floating doors and NPCs. More recently, I had an occurrence where the lighting got stuck during the day/night cycles, so while you could see the starry night sky above, everything that was rendered was still drenched in bright light. Weird stuff.

I couldn't ever kill hitler on my NES but could do it in emulators, thought it was my bad timing
