Well, it turns out Dementium: The Ward really is short. I had read a first time playthrough can be about 4 hours, but I managed to beat it at just under 3 total playtime. Well, one more down.

Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord

No major news is good news, I suppose. I spent my time navigating floor 6 and exploring it thoroughly while also getting the party up to all level 11. There are still some nasty status effects (petrification is now the problem), but in general fights have been survivable, and I have started to get better gear from monster drops. Isiola is now the proud owner of a Shortsword +2, while Ack has a Longsword +1.

With 6 pretty much fully checked out, I'm now delving into floor 7. As level gains slow (it can now take over 100k experience for some classes to level), I'm hoping more to understand the floor layout, gather monster info, and hopefully pick up more magic equipment that improves my party's gear.

6/10 DONE

1. Marathon 2 - BEATEN
2. Dementium: The Ward - BEATEN
3. Call of Duty: World at War - BEATEN
4. Corpse Party
5. Tex Murphy: Mean Streets
6. Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines - IN PROGRESS
7. Sniper Elite - BEATEN
8. PowerSlave - BEATEN
9. Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord - IN PROGRESS
10. Duke Nukem Forever - BEATEN

Made a bit more progress in Donkey Kong Country 3 tonight. Got through a few more levels tonight and I'm now up to World 6: Razor Ridge.

I'm starting to understand why multiple RB members have stated this is their favorite DKC game in the trilogy. It really does have a lot of variety in the level design and gameplay. Also, there's some pretty unique boss fights. The Bleak's House boss fight against the snowman was pretty fun, not something I expected in a platformer.

I had some difficulty with a few of the levels, but have managed to get through to this point without too much frustration. Really enjoying it so far!
