Ok, reworking the list. Here's what I'm now thinking:

1. Marathon 2
2. Dementium: The Ward
3. Call of Duty: World at War
4. Corpse Party
5. Tex Murphy: Mean Streets
6. Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines
7. Sniper Elite
8. Powerslave
9. Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord
10. Duke Nukem Forever

Thoughts, comments, suggestions?

For all the stuff you're not going to like about Marathon 2, you're going to LOVE dual-wielding sawed off shotguns. They make things dead very quickly and it feels GOOD.

Listen. I love this soundtrack. I have so many thoughts about this soundtrack. It is probably my favorite on the NES/Famicom. And I know how hard this game is, and how skilled of a technical gamer you are. What a fated match. I cannot WAIT to hear your thoughts as you go through it. I am practically already pouring out the bowls of chips for this.

Just showing my enthusiasm for this year’s SGC!

   Precious. Right there with you on the enthusiasm, and am also probably going to double post soon. Again.

If you're gonna replace something, please make it with this one. I treasure this game. And also its soundtrack. It is an extremely good time.

All right friends, here's my list. I'm actually amazed at how quickly it came together.

CORE:

1. Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the Future (DC)
2. Harvest Moon: More Friends of Mineral Town (GBA)
3. Knuckles' Chaotix (32X)
4. SimTower (DOS)
5. Adventure Island II (GB)

BONUS:

6. Ultima IV: Quest of the Avatar (NES)
7. Theme Park (GEN)
8. Ecco the Dolphin (GG)
9. Neo Contra (PS2)
10. ???

I'm going for Veteran Mode, with the hopes of finishing at least five of these. I'll make another post later as to the significance of each, because they're all fairly important and/or nostalgic in some way or other.

That open #10 slot, though... I've recently gotten very interested in the Wii, and would love to hear some recommendations for a good Wii pickup to try out. If you are so moved, make your pitches, please. My appreciation in advance.

Thanks for the warning. Should I swap it out for one of these?
Nahh, stick with it. It's pretty unique and worth a play.

@Key, here's some suggestions for the Wii that you don't already have:
  • Kirby's Return to Dreamland
  • Punch-Out!!
  • Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles
