My copy of Shinobi Art of Vengeance arrived today, late (but better late than never) from Amazon.

I've been kind of on the fence about grabbing this. I played the demo a while ago, and while it seems kind of fun, it's a far cry from what I think of as the definitive Shinobi (Shinobi III). I can kind of look past the metroidvania aspects, but with Lizardcube handling it, the general vibe kind of feels more like Ninja Turtles to me than an authentic Shinobi. Kind of a Blue Eye Samurai situation. I know Ryo makes a cameo as a background npc, though; Don't know if that's really a great reason to get it if that's the main reason I might play it--.
