So what have you guys been watching lately?
Re: So what have you guys been watching lately?
We have been watching Adventure Time as a family over supper, but my kid is so into it he forgets to eat, so we're now doing mental calculations on how we can keep doing this and ensure the boy stays fed. He's not very food-driven...

Supper first, Adventure Time afterwards.
Also, apparently the final season of Big Mouth hit Netflix recently.
And what did my fellow Whovians think of that finale? Shame we won't get any new Doctor Who episodes until the Christmas special.

Doctor Who has been unwatchable since the end of Capaldi's run. From what I have heard I didn't think there were too many people still watching the show. I gave up on it a long time ago. I am actually interesting in watching some classic Who though with some of the old Doctors like Tom Baker and some friends tole me that "Inferno" from the seventh season is pretty good.
There's a fun episode in the Ducktales 2017 reboot that reminds me of the good times in Doctor Who. It's a time travel focused Christmas episode and for those who don't know David Tennant is the voice of Scrooge McDuck on that show. It feels like an animated Doctor Who Christmas special.

I enjoyed Jodie Whittaker's run. Same with Ncuti Gatwa, who let's be honest is hot AF.

Finished Beautiful People last night. I didn't really watch season two as much as season one when it was airing on Logo, IIRC due to the scheduling and/or not being on the channel for much longer after the finale aired.
Also, I forgot to mention how the actor playing Kylie, Layton Williams, would find success after the show ended, including in the title role in the West End production of Everybody's Talking About Jamie back in 2019. Fitting since like Kylie, Jamie was also a flamboyant teenager living in a council estate while dealing with the vicious bullying of his classmates. Also, fun fact... in the episode "How I Got My Tongs", when adult Kylie appeared towards the end, the actor playing him was dubbed over by Layton Williams.
I'm definitely going to make Beautiful People one of my comfort shows that I return to often, alongside The Golden Girls and King of the Hill. Even if Beautiful People only lasted for twelve episodes, despite totally deserving a much longer run. At least a third series that shows the Doonans adjusting to life after...
