So my wife basically hates to play video games. She'll watch though. But I think I'm ruining that for her too cause lately all I've been doing is level grinding in Disgaea.

Re: Are females on racketboy?
My girl loves video games at least as much as me. The SNES, 64, GBA, and PS2 in our collection are hers. Of course the better half is mine with the Genesis (32x), Saturn, 360, and regular Xbox.
Anyways, I can't really see her joining Racket... but who knows?

Re: Are females on racketboy?
I've not seen one of those around here in a long time.
From what I've gathered from speaking to various 'girl gamers' is that they hate the monicker, they hate the fact that as soon as they post or let it be known that they are 'girls' they get harassed to hell about it, and they hate that everyone thinks that all they play are casual games.
My fiancée has a PS2 and plays the odd game on her mac or bootcamp. She plays GW every now and then but lately she hasn't had the time to play anything due to work and university work commitments. She does enjoy watching me play certain games though, namely the Persona games or anything with puzzles, she likes solving the puzzles for me. Lately we worked through RE2 together (I'm monumentally crap at those games but it helped having her there to scold me for wasting ammo and helping with the puzzles, although none were particularly difficult).
I can't see her joining this forum, or any forum to be honest, it's just not something she does. The computer and more specifically the internet is a tool for doing work and chatting to her friends, little else.

Vejita is a girl. And I know quite a few who read the site (my girlfriend included). But most I know dont post online to much, or if they do they pretend to be a guy so they arent either looked down on or stalked.
Re: Are females on racketboy?
To be honest, even if a girl came on here and said "I am female" I'd still have a hard time believing them.

Mandatory "OMG A GIRL ON THE INTERNET" thread it seems.
However I think every forum should have an icon indicating the user sex.
