Some awesome pick-ups shared recently! Cool to see the Cosmic Fantasy Collection getting some love. I missed out on that, but may need to pick up a copy in the near future. Also, that's great that AJ picked up a Sega CD and a nice selection of games for it. Also, glad to see Elkin back in the thread! We've missed you around here, bud.
As for my October pick-ups, I just grabbed one game. However, it's definitely a big grail for me and something I've wanted for many years. I missed a few opportunities to purchase it over the years.
Panzer Dragoon Saga (SAT) - Love the atmosphere in the Panzer Dragoon series, and I'm looking forward to playing through this one next year!
...whoa, congrats on the Panzer Dragoo Saga score Note. It's an excellent game and like you said the atmosphere in the games is something else. I really enjoyed the system in Saga that lets you tailor your dragon's attributes, plus the story is interesting and the soundtrack is excellent and just adds to the atmosphere.

...October pickups were sort of light, but I did get some classic stuff back into the mix though. A local game shop got a really nice Saturn collection in, and there was a super clean copy of Fighting Vipers I was able to grab. I didn't realize The Last Faith had physical copies and I always down to check out a solid Metroidvania. My little people have been having a blast w/Mario Party Jamboree, I haven't had a chance to check it out yet, but it looks like a lot of fun. I'm definitely looking to checking out Iron Meat after seeing the game progress from different conventions, I'm hoping Prison City gets a release too. As for Animal Well, I have a hard time passing on Metroidvanias and this one looks pretty cool/different.
Re: Games Acquired 2024
The first new games I picked up in November are Crimson Skies and Dreamfall: The Longest Journey. I played a bit of Crimson Skies and it seems pretty awesome. Dreamfall also seems really interesting. It reminds me of the 3D era Broken Sword games.

emwearz 2024 Pickups
Running Total: //
*all prices include postage

Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash (WiiU) - $13.00AUD / $8.52USD via eBay
Pikmin 3 (WiiU) - $16.45AUD / $10.78USD via eBay
Nothing like filling some of the gaps in my WiiU collection, I have heard nothing but average things about Mario Tennis, but I have forever been telling myself I will give the Pikmin series a proper try, so at some point I will play the Wii or GC version of the first I own and hopefully get through the series.
Hatsune Miku: Project Diva f (PSV) - $5.99AUD / $3.93USD via eBay
I have heard decent things about this rhythm game and it is not common to buy a Vita game at this price, let alone a fairly decent one.

Hitman: Contracts (PS2) - $2.00AUD / $1.31USD via opshop
I recently started playing the newest Hitman games and enjoyed them, I know the further back you go the worse they have aged (makes sense) but as I put a few hours into the second game and enjoyed it, could not pass them up.
airblade (PS2) - $2.00AUD / $1.31USDD via eBay
This and Trickstyle were both games I was pretty interested in back in the day, nothing screams early 2000's quite like hoverboards baby!

Re: Games Acquired 2024
Airblade is a cool pick up! I picked it up either last year or the year before too and quite enjoyed it.
I absolutely loved TrickStyle back in the day. It was one of the games I was looking forward to in the run up to the Dreamcast's launch and I just had to pick it up along with Sonic Adventure when I got my console. The graphics and aesthetics really blew me away. I knew it wasn't mind blowing, but I still had a ton of fun playing through all the races and doing all the trick challenges. I had a friend who also loved it and we would play split screen a lot.
I hadn't realised they did a spiritual successor until much later, so when I saw Airblade cheap a little while ago I had to pick it up.
