I found the photos from 2015, when I got the IKEA desk I mentioned above:
They don’t make the table top anymore. The legs they still got ‘em but it is of lesser quality based on the reviews.
While it is a manual process to adjust the height, you can have the whole thing tilt towards you. The table tops rests on the legs — nothing is screwed in, only kept in place by rubber pads.

Life update: desk search on hold. BUT, I got a new computer chair. I will tolerate the crappy desk just a little longer. lol
Congrats, but ugh, I can make a similar thread to this but on computer chairs. My current computer chair is really old. The fabric is old and torn and the stuffing is coming out of it. It looks awful. But I haven't been able to find something that I like, or at least that I feel confident spending the money on.

Huh, interesting concept. It's basically two saw horses with an adjustable top.
If you have 2 towers and you want them both below the desk but not on the floor, that ain't a bad way to do it.
I have two towers actually. But they are full sized so they sit on the floor. The shelf on the left is a printer and the right is the subwoofer to my speakers.
A lot has changed since I got that desk. It’s still in the same room (opposite side) but it’s an “office” space that I don’t really use anymore. It’s more storage than anything else. The gaming rigs I haven’t even turned on in awhile. A handful of times since 2019. Shit, they still run Windows 7. The printer is the only thing that’s hooked up to power because I print from my phone or iPad via WiFi.

I bought this at sams club. Not the fanciest chair but I like it so far. But they had the three or so chairs that they offer already on display so I was able to try them out. I'd just go find a store and see what feels most comfortable to you and see where the best deal is.
I went to eat at a local pizza place and right next to it is a consignment shop where they have mostly furniture and antiques/decorations. They just so happened to have some furniture out on the sidewalk for display and, lo and behold, a small wooden desk just a little wider than my current one!
It's a flat top desk (no shelving or anything on the top) but it does have four front-facing drawers (two on each side). I'm planning to pick it up tomorrow so hopefully I'll have a nice desk for the rest of the work week.
Sorry for the low light in the image. I took this last night.
Actually made out of wood. Has a little love to it. One of the drawers might could use a slight repair but it works fine right now. Overall, happy with it. Paid around $85 total and is lightyears better than something you'd get for the same price at a big box store or online.
It's not an antique (or one of any significance). Probably made in the 70's/80's (just guessing based off the look/construction). I didn't see any tags or markings underneath the desk or drawers. For the curious: the drawers appear to be held with tongue and groove joints. Also, there's a triangular piece of wood at the corner of each joint. Not sure what that's called. If anyone has more woodworking knowledge, feel free to enlighten me.
