when i was in california for a while i really liked watching the korien channel. They had the craziest kid shows i had ever seen. You dont like disney channel cartoon? not even donald or goofy? One of the reasons I hate disney cartoons now is because some lame-er thought it would be a good itea to put commersials in there previously uninterupted shows. Pluss, they edit all the cool stuff out of the old cartoons. You cant see goofy blow his head off after missing a hole in golf anymore.

well even here in nippon i don't watch much tv... but about 70% of japanese tv are best described as "variety shows", meaning they have celebreties (usually comedians, or comedy "teams" as comedians exist within in osaka) and they talk about all kinds of things - current world issues, scary stories, cooking, travel, etc... it's definitely a breath of fresh air compared to what i see everytime i turn on a tv in the u.s... there is also of course a ton of foreign movies (usually from the u.s. or the u.k.) which can be switched into japanese dub or english dub with japan's equivalent of the SAP button... i'm not sure if subtitles are switchable but a lot of movies display them on tv. haven't watched much anime, but in the fall i was happy to see ranma 1/2 every weekday when i woke up!
My wife also likes the Gilmore Girls, but I can't stand it. They talk way too much and it is physically irrating to be in the same room when that show is one.

really? why is that? did you watch something you that em-bear-is -iz you? I use to watch Jem. and rainbow brite, merky and lurkie where a riot. Its not like attcking someones religion, though some of my friends freaked when i kept making fun of buffy. Youd think i just peed on there gods or something.

Conan is the only show I watch regularly. I am waiting for a new season of Curb Your Enthusiasm. As for shows I hate, not really any since I don't watch anything that I might not like. I know for sure Sex and the City annoys me to no end. My girlfriend has the complete collection and she watches them over and over again. I don't mind because it gives me time to play games or do other things without her nagging. She used to ask me to watch them with her, but after watching 3 episodes I had to quit.
