Dynamite was fun. Great match between Hangman and Ishi, a GREAT in ring segment with Hangman and Swerve, and a really great segment between Garcia and MJF too. We also had a forgettable, lame segment with Mariah May. God, everything surrounding the TBS title is trash. We also got a really fucking lame segment involving Mercedes and Okada. I absolutely DO NOT like this pairing. Get Okada the fuck away from Mercedes. AEW's women's division is starting to feel like shit again. After a big pay per view, it's like they had nothing interesting for either women's champion. They mentioned a title defense between Mercedes and Momo Watanabe from Stardom, but who fucking cares? These non-AEW title defenses always amount to nothing. In a more interesting universe we'd have AEW stars getting involved in Stardom storylines and vice versa, but that's never gonna happen.
Willow Nightingale needs to get pushed more, along with maybe The Virtuosa, Thunder Rosa, and Shida. To my complete and utter shock Mercedes and Mariah May have both flopped in AEW and I'm thoroughly bored of both of them. They come out, do pointless promos and silly antics, and we're supposed to get excited about seeing them again next week
Deonna Purrazzo and Thunder Rosa have had a feud in recent months that has genuinely been more fun and interesting than anything Mariah May and Mercedes have done. What aren't we getting awesome stuff with Mercedes like this?

I'm honestly more interested in Kamile right now than Mercedes.
I like Perry vs Bryan, I am very happy with how Perry is developing. He's also a title holder, so he has some credibility. I find anyone complaining about this kind of odd. Whatever happened to people wanting young talent to get elevated? After Perry being Jungle Boy for ages, there's a lot of work that needs to be done to elevate him and AEW is doing that. I actually think this could be really interesting if the Elite try and get involved in Bryan's title match, particularly Okada. Bryan's not gonna drop the belt for at least a few months, Perry is a perfectly fine first defense. We should be seeing him try and move up the card. Why wouldn't he? He's the one with the most to prove in The Elite.
Honestly, I'm just enjoying basking in the glow of Bryan Danielson as world champion. It's one of those things many of us thought we'd never get to see. As a Vegeta fanboy, if he took out the main villain of a Dragon Ball Super arc I'd be so happy I wouldn't even care what they have lined up for his character afterwards. I honestly wouldn't care who they picked for Bryan's first title defense, you know he'll have a killer match no matter who it is.
I don't know what's going on with Moxley, but credit to AEW for giving him a new creative direction. He has sorely needed it. I've complained about Moxley for a while, but I'm always open to changing how I feel about anyone if the effort is put in to make them interesting. I hated LIv Morgan in WWE, and they've completely turned me around on her.
