On Saturday was Missouri Game CON, which is my local gaming convention. They had a smaller convention in March, so this was the larger convention. This is the 8th year that they have done it and the venue was fantastic for it. It was all on top of a local ice rink. I didn't have many high dollar games, so this year was more about quantity than quality. With that mind, I still picked up many good ones and I will list my highlights below.
Shatterhand (NES) - This is one of my more expensive titles and I was glad to grab it.
Knights of the Round (SNES) - This was one of my most wanted titles and one of my more expensive ones as well.
Advance Wars (GBA) - A game that is high on my list of my most wanted games.
Soul Nomad (PS2) - Been looking for this one forever. I love the PS2 NIS games I think this completes it.
Animal Crossing: City Folk (Wii) - Another one that is super high on my most wanted list.
Games Acquired 2024
Re: Games Acquired 2024
I picked up a couple more Dreamcast games and a Wii U game. My son has really got into Lego City recently, so I thought I would get the Lego City Undercover game to see if he enjoys it. For the Dreamcast I picked up Star Wars Episode I Racer and Time Stalkers. I already have Racer for the N64, but I assume the Dreamcast version is the best one, even if the port didn't get great reviews. Time Stalkers is a game I owned back in the day and have some nostalgia for. It's not a great game (hence why I sold it at some point and I am now rebuying it), but I just have an itch to play it again.

Re: Games Acquired 2024

Some great games posted recently! I had a quieter month in July regarding game pick-ups.
Xenogears (PS1) - Really glad to finally have this game in my collection. I came across a cheap copy at a game store in rural Pennsylvania around fifteen years ago while visiting a friend, but he was also looking for it. Somehow, the game just eluded me all this time.
Majyūō: King of Demons (SNES) - I played a chunk of this via emulation last year and got more into it than I was expecting, so when the US physical release was announced, I figured I'd give it a go. Looking forward to diving into this one!

July update:
July
Trip World GB
Trip World DX GBC
Hammerin' Harry NES
Hammerin' Harry: Dan the Red Strikes Back! NES
Shantae & The Pirate's Curse 3DS
Rocket Knight Adventures: Re-Sparked Switch
Lumines PSP
Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth PSP
Omega Boost PS1
Mega Man Legends PS1
The Legend of Dragoon PS1
Total: 11 games
Lots of Limited Run stuff arrived this month - everything from Trip World to Rocket Knight was stuff I ordered from them some time ago.
I found Lumines and Valkyrie Profile for cheap at a local game store. Lumines was only £1 and Valkyrie was £12, so I picked them up.
Still on a PS1 kick with my purchases - picked up a few more big games for the system this month. Excited to get to them!

My son has got me into Pokemon games. I am only just realising how annoying it is that you can only have one save file on the old ones though. I guess I'll have to pick up some repro carts for him or something, because I don't want to pay the Pokemon tax on owning the same basic games twice.

I picked up Battletanx: Global Assault for the N64. I played some earlier today and it seems like a fun game that I never got around to playing when it came out.

Re: Games Acquired 2024

...I ended July w/a few more additions. Having access to all of the Rocket Knight games is cool, but a clean copy of Assault Suit Leynos 2 isn't bad either...I just wish it had the spine card.
Re: Games Acquired 2024
Does the collection include the 3D one from the 360 and PS3?
Also, some time I snagged Mortal Kombat 1 and the Dead Space remake for PS5.
Speaking of which, I recently bought a new 5TB external hard drive and 4TB SSD for my PS5. I would have gone for an 8TB SSD, if only to think ahead, but those fuckers are expensive AF. Well, more so than the 4TB ones. I'll be using the external hard drive to help move everything off of my current SSD and external hard drive (2TB each) before installing the new SSD. Then just use the SSD for PS5 games and the external hard drive for PS4 games.

Man, that was one of my favourite Saturn games back in the day. I haven't played it in quite a while now, I will have to play it again some time
I picked up Conker Live & Reloaded for the Xbox. The original is one of my favourite N64 games, so I figured I may as well pick up the remake when I saw it cheap.
I also got Incredible Hulk Ultimate Destruction, which looks like tons of fun.
