How can I enjoy hot coffee that isn't burnt?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I actually ended up purchasing a pour over coffee pot, but I don't have it yet. It was a good price on Amazon (I think for Prime day) but it wont ship until sometime in August.

Espresso isn't so hard to make. I think the hardest part is having to keep an espresso maker somewhere, like in a closet or something, and having to take it out and put it away. Assuming you don't have a huge kitchen with enough counter space that you can leave an espresso maker there as a permanent fixture. Or I suppose they have bigger, fancier machines that double as espresso and regular coffee makers.

I just Googled a bit, and I'm actually confusing espresso and cappuccino. But that's because most espresso makers also have the milk steamer thing. Apparently a cappuccino is just an espresso with the added steamed milk. I don't know if I've ever had an espresso proper, but I have enjoyed a cappuccino in the past and I think I would prefer that over espresso. Also, a latte is just a stone's throw away from there. But in my opinion, the latte is too complicated to make and it would probably be something I'd only ever have as dessert.

I have had espresso, which I prefer over cappuccino since I can't drink milk. Espresso is for a quick burst of energy, coffee is there to remind me that life is bitter and yet delightful at the same time. While I prefer to drink coffee, I see the benefit of espresso and won't knock it. But I have no experience with their machines. I think there are some pod machines that do them. Maybe look into that?
