Well...I went on the ps3 network today and...I see a demo that looks, like something I remember....
Marvel Vs Capcom 2....anyone know the offical release date of the game? The demo doesnt tell you...BUT it looks REALLY nice. All I saw was the demo...so IF its out...where the hell is it?...and if not...WHEN will it be...damn fan boy that I am wants to know!

It is not out yet. As far as I have seen they only say that it is coming out in the summer. They are making a port of the Dreamcast version so hopefully online play will be there. No demo for the Xbox 360 so bleh. Anything different with the demo? I am very interested in this.

I didn't notice much different in demo except menu looks different.. The sprites look same as Dreamcast version..

Demo shows that it WILL have online play,you just cant select it in the demo. I used the new 15th Annv. SF stick i have on it and it works great. Differences are very little and far inbetween...only difference is the fact that the ps3 is running an hdmi to my tv where as the dreamcast did not.

Digitally released games usually don't have a release date set months in advance. We likely won't know when the game is coming out until the week before release. It might be a little sooner in this case because it's kinda high profile. Also, there will be an XBLA demo just not until the game comes out - like all XBLA titles.

The final game will be out this summer, cost $15, have online play and EVERYTHING will be unlocked from the start.

Music Options – We love MvC2 but the original “jazzy” music has long been criticized even by ardent fans. Independent music volume controls and support of custom soundtracks on PS3 and 360 we deemed an important feature. Purists will still have what they love and fans of customization are also served.
