Best Dreamcast, non comerical games

Post by SpaceBooger »

What are the best homebrew, remixes, and other games for the DC?
I know Mozgus remixed some SF games and there are many beats of rage mods, but which one is the best and what else is out there?

I said it before about Beats of Rage mods, but I'd say any of Mr.Q's OpenBOR mods, especially Final Fight Apocalypse - 2nd Edition, are insane amounts of fun. I and two friends of mine went through the entire game, and it never got boring. The fact that it is 4-player definitely gives it a huge benefit on the Dreamcast.

Unfortunately, aside from BOR, there isn't too much I can think of in terms of DC Homebrew. Sorry!

Playing my "Doom Quadrilogy" (Ultimate Doom, Doom 2, Evilution and The Plutonia Experiment) or Rise of the Triad on my DC is also outstanding, but I guess they are commercial, even though never officially released on DC.

Anyway, Id Software released the Doom source and it's now kind of free, so...
