He posted that on Twitter last week. I can't believe they turned it into an official tshirt

Is it true WWE handed out #WeWantCody signs last night?

Edit: Ok, Wrestling Observer is claiming it has all been a work from day one to garner sympathy for Cody, get him over as a babyface and I am guessing to get people talking about this instead of Vince.

It's hard to know what is and isn't true right now. There's even a part of me wondering if the long term goal for WWE is actually to troll Cody the same way they're currently trolling CM Punk with that t-shirt. They just released DLC for their videogame featuring Stardust and "Dashing" Cody Rhodes

Haha yeah, I have seen theories (mostly in a jokey way) from fans since he joined claiming that they are trolling Cody because of the throne thing (and helping start AEW).

I meant to clarify regarding Wrestling Observer saying it's a work, that Meltzer actually went through three entirely contradictory scenarios and did his usual thing where he acts absolutely certain about something, but then presents multiple scenarios so he can't ever be wrong

The New Day vs. #DIY vs. The Creed Brothers vs. Imperium was a fun match. Too bad WWE's youtube channel only shows like three minutes of it:

It's just been revealed that March 13th's Dynamite IS in Boston. And Tony has his big announcement tonight...

God, I HATE his big announcements. But also, exciting times ahead for AEW.

Tony Kahn is a tool, but I want good things to happen for AEW

AEW is picking up some strong talent for the women's division. We just had a multi-time TNA women's champion added to the roster in Deonna Purrazzo. She's also a former AAA Reina de Reinas Champ, a ROH women's champion, and a GCW women's champion. We're potentially getting former IWGP Women's champion and winner of God knows how many WWE women's titles in Mercedes Mone. Plus, Now multiple sources are reporting that the woman who held the NWA women's title for over two years is coming to AEW

I don't know how Tony thinks, weirdo that he is, but you would think that if you're bringing in a star the caliber of Mercedes Mone, you absolutely NEED to have top tier women for her to have programs with and it does seem like AEW has been grabbing some good talent lately, including Mariah May who I think has star written all over her.

You bring back Britt, Hayter, and convince Shida and Riho to work more AEW shows (since they're always doing stuff in Japan) and the division can start getting really good. I haven't even mentioned Thunder Rosa, who came back recently. I think given Mercedes' recent run in Japan, she might want to work with some of the joshis, like Yuka Sakazaki. Those two could have some amazing matches. To a hardcore Japanese wrestling fan that's a dream match right there. Also, if Saraya wants to really get her shit together, there's never gonna be a better time for her to get people interested in her again than now with fellow WWE alum Mercedes being in AEW

I'm just throwing out different possibilities that having Mercedes brings to AEW, it's fun to think about

On the negative side of things though, Tony really put his foot in his mouth bad mouthing Rossy Ogawa. I can see now why Giulia would never consider working in AEW and is going to WWE

https://www.f4wonline.com/news/new-japa ... -promotion

How many other Stardom girls are going to be loyal to the old man? I think it's a given now that any one of them that goes to work for his new promotion will never step foot in AEW. Nice job Tony

Image

Oh I think I mentioned the connection between Purrazzo and Chelsea Greene before (as well as them both being friends with Britt Baker). The two of them were a duo in TNA, you add Britt to that mix as well as Hayter and Rebel and boy, you could have lots of fun with that. Chelsea is stuck in WWE land though. She's doing well enough for herself over there, but she's generally portrayed as a joke and a jobber. She's basically a stereotypical "Karen" character in WWE.

What the hell is going on? What a crazy week.

Anthony Cicione is now President of TNA Wrestling, replacing Scott D'Amore.

At this rate I'm waiting to hear about Tony Kahn getting replaced. I think AEW is the only major wrestling company to not have a big upper management shake up recently

Vince McMahon is gone, and The Rock may start being the guy running the show unless Triple H busts out some big power move

Hiroshi Tanahashi is president of NJPW

Rossy Ogawa has been fired from his own company Stardom

Scott D'Amore has been fired from TNA

Actually, there were rumblings of people not being happy with Billy Corgan in NWA...so don't be surprised if something happens there as well.

I agree with you though, all of this is fucking crazy
