What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

You answered you own question.
I am more interested in you completing a project than I am in your ideas for other projects you won't start and/or complete. You have some good ideas, but good ideas aren't worth anything without execution.

Don't remind me. I've been toying around with my King of the Hill continuation fanfic concept since the 2010s!

Though any partially abandoned idea gets revisited eventually... or not.

:) Got SOME of the glue off my lens, but I still have that dense streak that thankfully is so far off into the periphery that it's almost a non-issue.

:D My brother's ex-girlfriend sent me pics of my youngest niece Zelda opening her presents. OMG, she's so precious! She definitely looks like her sister at that age.

Just get some cheap glasses. If you can afford to buy a PS5 and all that techno-junk you keep dumping money into you can afford to buy some glasses online. Just ask some of us where and we will set you straight.

I can't just buy the ones they sell in stores. I have to go to an eye doctor, the nearest of which is an hour away. Plus right now, my hours are providing just enough cash to pay the rent, keep the lights on and buy groceries. I think I have Medicaid, and if I do and it comes with eye care I can just get my eyes checked (which I'll need when ordering glasses) and a free pair of glasses.

He's not suggesting you buy reading glasses down at Walgreen's.

Next time you get an eye exam, get a copy of your prescription so you can order cheap spare or replacement glasses online.

They're more expensive than free, but they don't take much time to order.

That's what I meant when I said:

The idea is to get my eyes checked, snag a free pair of glasses, get a copy of my prescription, order glasses online, designate my free pair as my back-up pair, go to the Winchester, have a nice cold pint, and wait for all of this to blow over.

Yeah, at this point I think we're all surprised that you don't already have a copy of your prescription.

Naw, we aren’t surprised at all. Glasses are a necessity, so he won’t invest more than a moment’s thought in them.

In all seriousness, REPO, as someone who has previously expressed interest in fashion and posts about clothing frequently, I am surprised that you haven't built up a collection of glasses as fashion accessories.
