...aaaaaand it looks like I may have to stop watching WWE for a while

It was hard enough tolerating Cody, then Cena coming back and being called "The Greatest of all Time" every 10 seconds

and now this shit

I actually have to wonder if seeing guys like Punk and Cody turn their backs on Tony Kahn and give him the finger by returning to WWE will finally make him start being a ruthless, cutthroat, business man and drop the nice guy act.

and already stories are coming out about people being pissed off about Punk being back in WWE. Now, it's very early so things need to be confirmed. So I would say to take everything with a grain of salt. However, I'm seeing stories about Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre being pissed off. Drew is said to have stormed out of the arena and was clearly very angry and there's a video of Seth Rollins angrily flipping Punk off and dropping F bombs.

Maybe it's all a work, maybe it isn't. I'm not gonna make a fool of myself and say one way or the other. Too soon to tell.

Seems Punk signed a multi-year deal. He's gonna be around for a while...unless he gets fired...again.

There's a photo online of him and Triple H looking like BFFs.

Well, it's true what they say. Anything can happen in wrestling and EVERYONE comes back to WWE eventually.

Money talks and WWE really is the only game in town that matters.

Oh and uh...Randy Orton is back LOL. WWE basically just replicated Bryan Danielson and Adam Cole's AEW debuts.

Punk = Danielson and Orton = Cole

Punk is a hypocrite, but most people already knew that.

Oh, and apparently Ryback has to retire now

For somebody who was fired on their Wedding Day, CM Sell-Out is a very fitting name.

A multi-year deal? Ahahaha what? My theory was always that WWE wouldn't have him back, but if they did, it would just be a short 3-6 month thing for something specific.

I tend to think WWE will manage Punk's behaviour a lot better than AEW though. I can't imagine Triple H fearing for his life...

Edit: It is being reported Seth Rollins being "pissed off" is a work, as it is going to lead to a feud.

Oh more thing, a lot of people act like it's shocking Punk would go back to WWE. But it really isn't. He already tried to go back in 2019 when Fox brought him in for that WWE talk show thing. Then, again, at towards the end of 2022 during his AEW suspension when there was talk of them buying out the remainder of his contract, he was allegedly in favour of a buy out and wanted to go back to WWE.

And then weeks before they agreed to his return to AEW earlier this year, Punk was backstage at WWE for a while before he was eventually told by Vince to leave. He supposedly hashed things out with Triple H and the Miz and I can only imagine there was only one reason he was there, which was to find out if there's any chance they would have him back.

I wonder if he ever even gave a shit about AEW and if he just wanted to use them to springboard his return to wrestling and use them to get a foot in the door to return to WWE. I don't want to go full on conspiracy theorist, but the events surrounding his firing from AEW came across as so incredibly ludicrous, that I wouldn't be surprised if he blew up on purpose and got himself fired intentionally just so he could get out.

Jade 'there's no place I'd rather be than AEW, I'm here to stay' Cargill too.

At least MJF has "allegedly" already quietly resigned for another three years and it's just a work that he might go to WWE.

AJ Lee must be so proud of her husband. One can see how much Punk's marriage means to him.

In other news, Jade Cargill sucks and WWE doesn't know what to do with her.

It's obvious that everything WWE does lately is really about sticking it to AEW
