What was the last movie you've seen?

Menace II Society. Blast from the past. I had't seen this in 25 years and it's 30 years old. Hard to believe. Has a young jada picket, samuel l jackson, Roc, rappers too short, mc eiht, pooh man, and a great performance by larenz tate. Great movie i rank it on par with boyz n da hood. That fox body 5.0 with gold daytons and the single straight up menace by mc eiht. Soundtrack was a banger.

Rewatched V/H/S99 last night, which is easily a MAJOR upgrade from the prior entry. While the second and fourth stories are at best hit-or-miss, the other three stories easily carry the film in spades. In lieu of the previous films this one eschews a framing story in favor of segments of a stop-motion film made by one of the characters from the fourth story, which is slightly better than the meh AF second segment. As a major 90s kid who grew up on Nick shows I definitely liked the middle segment Ozzy's Dungeon. In it, a contestant on a Double Date-esque children's game show with a jungle theme becomes egregiously injured that years later leads to a twisted revenge plot that ends with the truth behind this controversial game show. I also enjoyed the first story involving a local group of punks who disturb an abandoned concert venue that was the site of a horrifying fire that ended with the death of a local rock group. And there's the final story of a ritual gone wrong and a literal trip to hell and back.

I just got back from taking my kids to Five Nights at Freddy's. I knew very little about the FNAF story going in and my expectations were very low. I've been burned by many a terrible video game movie adaptation. It wasn't too bad though. The audience actually clapped at the end so I'm guessing the FNAF fans really enjoyed it. My kids sure did. I enjoyed Matthew Lillard's performance.

How well would it pair up with that Banana Splits movies Warner Bros made when they lost the FNAF license?

I had no idea that movie existed.

I have never played the FNAF games, but the Wendigoon youtube channel has a pretty good video going over the whole franchise. So if I watch the movie I'll at least have a little bit of info about what I'm getting into.

Yesterday while I was doing laundry I put on Girl's Nite Out, an obscure 80s slasher that to be honest I didn't really pay much attention to.
And then before bed last night I watched Halloween III: Season of the Witch.

Rewatched one of my favorite Christmas movies today while doing laundry.

Beetlejuice (1988)
This film still holds up quite well. There were a lot of things I didn't pick up on when watching it as a kid.
I also have the NES game, but I couldn't figure it out without the manual when I was younger.

Ghostbusters: The Video Game is the last movie I've seen, because it's literally a movie pretending to be a game, and it sucks.
The gameplay is trash and it literally feels like it WANTS to be a Ghostbusters movie instead of a video game. They got Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, and Harold Ramis to work on this. They almost got Sigourney Weaver too, and it's such a shame that this COULD have been a great Ghostbusters movie...if they had actually done just that. Instead, we got this shitty game.
I'll quote zero punctuation here:
"My point is, asking a film maker to make a game is like asking a sausage maker to suck off a pig; you can sort of see the logical connection there, but it's a completely different skill set and the effort will just leave a bad taste in someone's mouth."
