What was the last movie you've seen?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Last night I decided to pop in my 4K UHD copy of Return of the Living Dead. Hope we get 4K UHD releases of 2 and 3.

I wonder if my nieces are old enough to watch this? I know that part 2 was closer to PG-13 than the first one, so it'd be easier to get away with showing to 11-13 year olds. I don't have THAT many reservations towards gore, though I'm waiting until they're in high school before I show them Hellraiser, but the only issue I'd have with showing them this is Linnea Quigley whipping out the twins and dancing naked in a graveyard. Replace the latter with feeding lipstick to one of her nipples and that'd be my trepidations towards showing them Night of the Demons.

Recently scored the 4K UHD Blu-ray release of Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, which unsurprisingly still holds up nearly three decades later. Y'know, I think this was the first piece of Batman media featuring the voice of the late great Kevin Conroy that I've consumed since Conroy's passing.

To me, Kevin Conroy was THE definitive Batman.

For animation (and video games) I would agree

For live action, it's Michael Keaton

For comedy, it's Adam West

Relevant to this discussion...and also really funny:

Speaking of Batman-based comedy sketches, remember when MadTV had Joel Schumacher having Tommy Tune's Batman fighting Liza Minelli's Traquiliza in Batman V: Out of the Cave?

Ironically I remember hearing that there WAS going to be a Broadway adaptation of Batman, with music by Jim Steinman. You can listen to the demos here. But so far there's a bunch of random parodies and the Starkid musical.

Looking for something to watch during a rainy day yesterday, and settled on Zombieland.

That's a classic in my opinion. Easy to rewatch, or just have on the TV in the background while you're working.
