TMNT IV is coming to XBLA

This looks awesome. Would love to see them remake all of the console versions in HD. When I say remake I really just mean make the NES version with the SNES graphics but try to keep the game play as unchanged as much as possible.

I wanted the original arcade version, just because I had already played the S-NES one to death, but I'll take this. Wow, and we get Gunstar Heroes too. I'm really starting to like Xbox Live Arcade I have to admit. I've complained about it in the past, but this is good stuff and the recently released Dishwasher Samurai was also fantastic. I used to complain about not getting many of the great classic arcade beat'em ups and hack n slash titles, but a TMNT IV remake and Dishwasher has me satisfied for the moment

And what about games like REZ and Ikaruga, that are already on XBLA...you can really save money by buying a 360 and these games

Awesome! My best friend will get a kick out of this! He's been wanting Turtles in Time since the original arcade game came out on XBLA.

This makes me happy I splurged on a 360.

I have certain trepidations, however. I know that the arcade version suffered from some license issues, like no cartoon theme music and some bosses replaced with some really oddball characters. I hope that these are nonissues in this remake. I also hope that it supports local 4-player multiplayer, maintains the awesome gameplay of the original, and remixes the original soundtrack. If all this happens then I will be a happy Turtle!!

If it doesn't work out like I hope then I'll just be a not-so-happy Turtle.

Damn, now I really want a 360.

I kinda do, but the whole region locking thing pisses me off.

I don't want to have to buy two 360's just so I can play a bunch of local XBLA games and a bunch of japanese import shmups.

I'm glad that I am not the only one who though, "damn its about time to get a 360" when I saw this. Weird since I already have turtles 4 for SNES and have the MAME rom. Oh well... Im just looooooooooooking for an excuse..
