I saw this thread on the Vogons forums not too long ago, and it's a great idea. You might have noticed, YouTube seems to promote very popular channels which makes it hard to find smaller channels. Whether you search specific terms, or just browse your feed, you tend to see the same few channels dominate your video results.
So, use this thread to suggest lesser known channels!
Here's one that I found recently: https://www.youtube.com/@hungrygoriya
Hungry Goriya - She has lots of 8 and 16-bit RPG and adventure game reviews, as well as some other stuff. They're not long, but not too short either. Sometimes that's exactly what I'm in the mood for.

This is my go-to channel when I want to play a new RPG. I love this one. It's even good to use as audio-only. I don't get the luxury (five kids - two jobs) of watching many videos, so I like to find ones that are good communicators that explain everything on the screen. I second this channel whole heartedly.

Instant Patreon support when I found Janus Cycle.

I sent him a big box of retro computer treasures, but being in Australia has made the delivery very long.
I wonder if Dave still has that Clie from back in 2014.
Everyone here already knows about Macho Nacho Productions, right?

Re: Less Popular YouTube Channels (Hidden Gems)
I don't know what qualifies a Less Popular Channel, but SNESDrunk is probably the best YouTube Channel on Retro Video Games ever.
https://www.youtube.com/@SNESdrunk
I know he was a part of the community here as I have been watching all of his videos since the beginning and he mentioned this forum several times in them. There is no fluff and no unnecessary theatrics. It is short, sweet and to the point. I think I watch one of his videos once a day.

Re: Less Popular YouTube Channels (Hidden Gems)
Appreciate the recommendations here! I'm a fan of Hungry Goriya and SNESDrunk as well. However, I've seen a lot more of SNESDrunk's videos than Goriya's, so I want to make an effort to watch the latter's stuff more frequently.
Two other smaller channels I'd like to recommend:
Project COE (https://youtu.be/VDBi_jhMfjU) - Awesome channel for reviews of Sega Saturn games. Also has some videos on modern games and let's play videos, but I think his archive of Saturn reviews is the best feature of the channel.
Xygor Gaming (https://www.youtube.com/@Xygor/videos) - Good channel for reviews of older RPGs! This channel also has series retrospectives and some modern stuff mixed in here and there.

I'm not sure if it's popular or not, but if you like video games and you like movies, this channel is a must:

I've been supporting Slope's Game Room on Patreon for some years. I think he doesn't have enough followers or sponsors for the quality of his videos. He does a great job with his VideoGame "Complete History" series. The Kick Scammers series is also always entertaining.
Make sure you watch his recent EVIL DEAD: The History and the Games

Thanks for recommending Slope's Game Room, Anapan. I checked out a few of his videos and dig what's he's doing.
When I have more time over the weekend, I'll check out some of his long form vids.

Not sure how small it is, but my current favorite is Cathode Ray Dude. He has a few video game related videos, but it's mostly just old technology in general.

Thanks for the recommendation, lwcook! I've been interested in finding another channel other than LGR about older tech stuff, so this seems like something I'll enjoy.
